Fibro Guys

A Social Network for Men with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue or Pain

when my back & neck started hurting like never b/4. Went to several chiropractors who helped but still couldn't explain some things. Went to several other dr's who couldn't help. Finally in '00, went to a rheumatologist who dx'ed me.

Been thru many ups & downs since. Living with fibro has been a curse & a blessing. Winters up north were like living hell -severe pain, fatigue, depression, thots of suicide... We moved down here to SE Oklahoma in '07 -& my fibro is much more mild here. It's given me a second life.

If u're struggling, don't give up. Keep looking for a new type of treatment.

Thanks for sharing, Randall. I sometimes think I should join the birds and move South for winter - or permanently. I have noticed that my symptoms are better in warm weather - but not too hot. I guess the extremes (either hot or cold) bring the worst out of my fibro. I'm glad you've had better success in OK.
the heat tends to knock all life out of me! I feel most alive when I'm managing to walk our dogs with the rain beating down on me!
