This was an intelligent perspective. I have a R.A. doc because I also have Ankylosing Spondylistis... At 47 I have lost most of my teeth due to many factors including long history of medications for pain... This is a broad view I've seen change recently... I also worked as a Respiratory Therapy Student for years and was exposed to TB, and other airborne sicknesses... My pain and fatigue grew with my 3rd shift job and just recently after applying 2 1/2 years ago reapplied and was approved for disability... Fibro is still treated with Lyrica which is a anti-depressant with FDA approval for Fibro... Yet in the last year or so in Michigan here... Now the term is tossed around as if it's always been accepted... Marketing... Money money money... What makes the medical world go round... And yes, I've had my share of divorce and mental battles because of my condition... Ex's lawyer just recently in court accused me of making everything up, even with multiple medical records... Understanding usually comes from those who have it... communication is key to everyones war. Mine has been hell for numerous years. Getting disability is some sense of justification for years of mental BS.
