Fibromyalgia awareness day
Hello all. May 12th is national fibro day. It is a chance to have our voice heard. If anyone is interested in learning more about this please connect w/Fmaware.com or myself. I have already gotten pamphlets to pass out at work, posters to put up at work and surronding facilities, plus my bumber sticker which is a purple ribbon with fibromyalgia is real written on it. I feel support is essential in living w/ this condition. So I will keep you posted on what I'm doing to prepare for fibro…

the yin yang of yo yos

Savella is working well so far. I still have the daily aches but not as bad as they were. The tramadol helps too ;)
One complaint that I do have....constipation! wtf? It's horrible. The one that helps is metamucil. Everything else makes u go rather than make it easier to go.

I tried the open support groups and I don't mean to down my own gender, but we tend to get a little too whiny. After reading some of the posts as I guest, I found what I wanted. People who just say what they gotta say and help each other out.....and I bet we have a great moderator too!

- I am 55, six children and disabled from working for over two years now. I am really lost not having my job and making a smooth transition to retirement. I had my friends at work, which is hard to keep up now that I am not there. I have no real hobbies because I have been caught up in work and my kid's avtivities. Just as we moved up here to keep my job with Boeing five years ago, things were getting bad enough that it was starting to affect my job. Now I have no job and little to keep my mind focused. I have just begun to read again, which I enjoy doing. I look forward to joining the groups that you mentioned, thanks. Randy
